Default burrito so yummy

fry up a pound of burger, or ground chicken/turkey, and drain fat.
toss in a can of stewed tomato/jalapeno and cook it down so its not so runny.
take a whole wheat tortilla and warm it, and smear low fat sour cream on half if it, then put some meet mixutre on that, add sliced black olives and put lots of chopped up iceburg lettuce and fold over. lay sliced tomato on top and its yummy.
Notice I didn't add cheeze, if you can't live without cheeze of course you can add that. I just feel that cheeze doesn't add enough flavor to justify the extra cals. but you can add chopped up green onion, or pepers, or what ever you like.

Yummy I do love a burrito!

I agree that cheese can be overdone. Pizza is another food that can do without the cheese. I make my own pizza from scratch and I concentrate on seasonings and toppings that are highly flavored such as roasted red bell peppers, paper thin slices of garlic, porcini mushrooms, etc. Sometimes I'll grate some fresh parmesan cheese on them, just after they come out of the oven. A tiny amount packs a lot of punch.

That pizza does sound good, and I love the parmesan cheeze. have you ever tried frying that fresh parmesan cheeze? just warm that non stick pan and sprinkle a little in and let it cook and melt and get brown and you can put all that pizza toppings or burrito filling on it and roll it up. it makes like a taco shell sort of. and it is really good, a little chewy but its good...
