Default 20 induction carbs - count fiber?

Hi - silly question. I am trying to stay under 20 carbs per day. But my 3 cups of lettuce by itself is 9. Should I subtract the fiber? I know you do for net carbs, but how about for the induction "under 20"???

Thanks!

romaine lettuce is only 1.3 g per cup. .4 digestible carbs. What type of lettuce are you eating that it's 9?

I was wondering that too what kind of lettuce are you eating, I stick to romaine or spinach, they are low in carbs.

Hi Bailey,
I mainly eat iceburg or romaine lettuce and usually just count 1g per 1 cup or 1 large leaf.

In frequently asked questions it tells you how to count carbs along with a bunch of wonderful tips.

But yes, subtract your fiber from your carbs, thats what you should be counting.
