Good Morning! My name is Carrie, I'm 43 and I am 9 days in on keto. I have Hashimotos, but feel great so far, with the exception of some insomnia issues that I hope will pass. I am here hoping for some friends, advice and support, none of my friends eat this way, with the exception of my 8 yr old that has to eat gluten , milk and most grains free. hi Carrie, I am new also (well, sort of new) and I have Hashimoto's as well, I'm 46. I don't know what you mean by "keto" (assuming no carbs?). I am starting medifast again after losing 85 pounds on it back in 2012. I am still 40 pounds down from that weight loss so not too bad - didn't gain it all back but I need to refocus. I would like to lose about 30-40 pounds. Good luck with your continued success!

hi Jm mom. I meant the ketogenic diet which is low carb, high fat and moderate protein. As you know it is really hard to lose weight with hashis! Good luck with your weight loss, I am always her to chat!
