Hi everyone! I guess maybe I now qualify as a featherweight (which seems so weird).
Goal: 135 lbs
8/1/2017: 144.2
Realistically I could hit goal by 9/1 using the 2-3 lbs a week metric but my weight loss has been really slow lately. I see plateaus that last up to 6 weeks. So we'll see!

Goal: maintain under 120 lbs, I don't know if that will happen again if I continue to lift so heavy! I have upped my lifts by over 50%, 20 lb to 35 lb free weights...
Aug 1: 123.6 lbs (LS)
Aug 2: 124.6 lbs (LS)

Hi all! I am new here and hope you don't mind me jumping in:
S/C/G 157/151/135 August goal: Get out of the 150's and stay out despite a week of vacation a girls weekend!
Aug 1: 153.4
Aug 2: 151 (I suspect there was a lot of water lost from eating a salty diet the weekend before)
Aug 3: 150.6

Hi, Girly girl! I'm just starting at 155, and trying to drop 20 lbs to get to get to 135. Feel so overwhelmed since there are so many diet plans out there and I want to lose the weight in a healthy, sane way. Any tips for starting weight loss? I began to gain weight 2 years ago when I met my boyfriend. He's wonderful but the relationship weight has got to go!!

What is your diet and workout plan like? Are you tracking calories?
I personally eat more of a paleo/low carb diet, use the Lose it! app to track calories, drink half my body weight in water + 8 oz for every 30 minutes of exercise, and I work out every day (you don't have to do this to lose weight but I enjoy it and helps me emotionally as well as physically).

Oh boy do I hear you! It's sounds like we are in the same boat. For me I'm not really following a diet. Just logging everything I eat in my fitness pal and being honest with my portion sizes (I had to pull out the scale).
I am also much better when I am in a routine so I took one day before I started and prepped all my food. I portioned out fruit to make smoothies and put them in ziplock's in the freezer so in the morning i toss in the blender with protein and I have healthy breakfast! I also portioned out things like cheese, cream cheese, seeds etc so when I need a snack there is 0 guessing.
Nothing is off limits BUT I have to have the calories available. So far it's working but this coming week at the cottage will tell for sure!!!
Let's support each other through this!!

Thanks, matinee - downloaded LoseIt! yesterday and using for the first time today. Is upgrading to premium worth it?
Up until 2 years ago, I weighed the same throughout my entire adult life, so this is really the first time I'm making any effort to lose weight. Not that I ever considered myself "skinny" (I'm 5'6" and bird-boned, so 135 was a healthy size 6 or 8 on me). I looked into everything from WW to tone it up, and felt overwhelmed, so thought I'd try something less structured first.
Thanks, Girly girl! I'm going to the grocery store after work today and will work on meal prep this weekend. Happly Friday and hope everyone is off to a great start this weekend!

I don't think its worth it. I have used for almost 2 years and never upgraded. Good luck!
