Default Bored with proteins

I rotate through beef, chicken, eggs, sprouted lentils, tinned tuna, fresh fish, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, and protein powders.

Unfortunately, I'm getting kind of sick of all of them. Suggestions for new options/recipes/etc? Conversation about favourite protein recipes welcome. 😊

There are a lot of Paleo websites that I enjoy that have great protein recipes.
What about developing some better recipes for sides that will pair amazing with your protei ie. jazz up that pork loin with a delicious apple-cinammon compote??

Suggestions for something different - marinades, brining, stews, stir-frys (trying to develop a pad thai made with spaghetti squash)

Pickled herring
Garlic-chicken hearts with a side of blue cheese
"Lasagna" with meat sauce and egglant
Variations of shepherd's pie
Curries!!!
Scotch eggs
Meatballs (asian soy flavour, italian flavour...)
Designer bunless burgers. Like, nutbutter +banana, or avocado/apple/cheddar, or caramelized onion..
Pulled pork (I keep meaning to try a curried pulled pork topped with braised-apple-cabbage. )

Just ideas!!!

I get that frequently. And particularly some times I can't tolerate proteins - it's not that I "crave carbs" at certain times, I just can not stomach any of the proteins when it hits and then hunger drives me to other foods

I tend to scale back on protein for awhile when it gets bad, and then my taste for protein comes back.

Genrally when I am having this feeling I do better with ground beef than steak, protein scattered in soup, less chewing, more salt, more spices. Treat the meat more as a condiment.

Our local organic grocer has a nice variety of in house made sausages - chicken apple, spicy beef and my personal favorite is the " gyro" - which is a seasoned ground lamb. All are slightly more sodium etc. than the normal fare, but it can get me through the times when a hunk of meat is just bleeech. again in the easier to chew, more spices.

And I rely more on beans. I do a cold summer black bean, corn, avocado, tomato salad, or heat it with some taco seasoning and it is good as a taco salad or a burrito.
