Default Make 2015 Your Goal Year! Challenge 5/8: Independence Day to Labor Day

This is Challenge 5 of our 2015 Goal Year Challenge.

Challenge 5 will be approximately 10-11 weeks according to when your weigh in day is and will cover Mothers Day until Independence Day. Everyone is welcome - you don't need to have been a part of the previous challenge to participate.

Challenge 1: New Years Day to Valentine’s Day (January 1st to February 14th)
Challenge 2: Valentine’s Day until April Fools Day (February 14th to April 1st)
Challenge 3: April Fools Day until Mother's Day (April 1st to May 10th)
Challenge 4: Mother's Day until Independence Day (May 10th to July 4th)

Challenge 5: Independence Day to Labor Day (July 4th to September 7th)
Challenge 6: Labor Day to Columbus Day (September 7th to October 12th)
Challenge 7: Columbus Day until Thanksgiving Day (October 12th to November 26th)
Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 26th to December 31st)


Weigh in for challenges will be once a week. Copy and paste this format or create your own, edit dates to match your weekly weigh in day. You'll be coming back each week to update your progress (find the entry and click edit). And this thread will be available for us to chat about the challenge, overcome struggles and celebrate successes.

I will post a new thread for each new challenge as they approach. This means the thread will not get super long by end of the year and anyone can jump in at any point in the year!

Yay, will update my weigh in chart later, thank you so much for hosting this challenge!! BTW you hosted my first one ever, which finally got my weight loss moving May of last year.

07/04/2015: Begin Weight: 221.8
07/13/2015: 220 lbs. (down 1.8 lbs. from my start, but up 1 lb. from my lowest, I think I am going through PMS right now, and sidebar today marks 17 months on my weight loss/healthier living journey, woohoo!)
07/20/2015: 220 lbs. lol, the great news is yesterday I weighed 2.6 lbs. heavier thanks to PMS water weight gain + about 2-3 binges, but I have been back on track since about the 17th, determined as ever, let's do this!!
07/27/2015: 222 and tmi but relevant TOM has arrived. Lately I've been eating in the 1800's calorie range, or higher and I guess my body doesn't like this, I don't know. Sighs
08/03/2015: 217.8 (I'd call this a new low, but actually my lowest was yesterday when I came in at 217.4 lbs. lol) *super thankful*
08/10/2015: 216 I've been at this weight for 3 days, ack lol. Happy still, just not satisfied come on Onederland!
08/17/2015: 216.2 (a little up from last week, but not too bad, I had a hellish week, and my cycle still hasn't kicked in yet lol #pmsproblems #pmsbinges)
08/24/2015: 217 a gift considering the week I've had, 3 really crappy days, little exercise (though I am proud of those 2 days I did do ) here's to a better day tomorrow!
08/31/2015: 213.2
09/07/2015: End Weight: 213

I started this challenge in January, but then my dad passed in February and I think I just needed the time to mourn and get some rest. Now it's summer and while I'm not re-energized completely, I can see daylight and am ready to be active and work on my eating plan and weight-loss again. Many thanks, SmallSteps for this ongoing challenge! Even when not participating I look forward to them and live vicariously through everyone's losses
