I'm working my way through a new book: The Diet Trap Solution by Dr. Judith S. Beck and Deborah Beck Busis. So, my goal for May is to slowly work my way through the ten Foundation Strategies -- allowing 3 days or so to practice each strategy before adding the next one.

Really excited for the new month to be able to join some challenges! I'm in my second week of being back on track after losing and regaining in the past.... my biggest loss was when I used this board around 3 years ago so I'm really excited to be back!

Last time I went brutal, big losses, strict changes. This time i'm being real and every change I make should be something that I can do forever.

For May I would like to lose a kilo a week

As I still have a lot of weight to lose I hope to make this happen without having to be too strict. for June I will probably lessen my goal or make it more about life than the scales.

secondary aim is daily weigh ins to help me to understand my patterns, not to beat myself up when things aren't going my way.

i will post on the morning on 1st May with my start weight and weekly and total goals.

Looking forward to the support on offer and the support I can offer

Step by step ~ I'm with ya. About 5 years back these challenges were definitely motivating and help me shed 100 lbs. Unfortunately, I put it all back on. So lets do this. We did it before and we will do it again.

I am going to step up my game this month and shoot for 10 lbs. I plan on working really hard.

(Will revise start weight if I by chance lose any before this challenge starts.)

My goal weight will be 178. About a 6.6 loss from where I am now. 178 will be the lowest I've ever weighed at my adult height. (For high school sports 6-8 years ago, I occasionally weighed in at 179 during meets.) Last month I crossed the 50 pounds lost line, so lets see if I can set this lowest weight goal this month!

Hi I'll join you all! I am around 181 to 183 right now so I'll be aiming for 177. I'm looking forward to the 170s this month!!
A lot of you are tall! Yay for height, it's nice to have others that are tall to relate to.

What a great vibe in the room

Okay I'm in: last weigh in of April done at 93.3KG or 205.6lb
a KGish a week is my first full month push of a goal..... TOM just over and just shifting a horrible cold so hoping that I'll whoosh at the start and go easier at the end as I've got a bit of travelling and a friend visiting so will be tougher to focus.

SW: 93.3 (205.6)

5/2: 92.0 (202.8)
5/3: 92.1 (203) - not surprised after feeling meh and dehydrated yesterday, fingers crossed for a 91 for official weigh in tomorrow!
