I'm getting back on track with this challenge. There, I said it. So now that I've said it, I have to do it, right?

This challenge, Easter to Summer, is the one that got me rolling along last year. I started it at 246.5 lbs. I've lost 66 lbs since then, so I know it can work for me. Just gotta get back to being consistent. Not perfect but consistent.

Hi everyone, I'm excited to join this new challenge, I've lost over 50 lbs. Participating in these over the past year, here's to losing my next 50+! Thank you Streudel for hosting the challenge!

SW: 238
GW: 225 (13 lbs. Very ambitious goal for me, here we go!)

4/5- 238
4/12- 234
4/19- 235 (PMS week, guessing water retention caused gain, though a few days ago I did overeat by 2,000+ calories)
4/26- 233 yay! Same as yesterday, my lowest adult weight yet.
5/3- 234 grrr, gained a few pounds after last week's weigh in, then got down to 233.2 yesterday but for whatever reason I'm .8 up from last night grrr. That is after exercising and staying on track so hopefully this week it will show up finally.
5/10- 230! My lowest weight yet going for the 220's this coming week, Thank you G_d!
5/17- 227.8 whoa! Lol my lowest yet, PMS is being kind to me this month.
5/24- 226.6 my lowest so far but I've hit it multiple times this past week. It also marks 75 lbs down for me since I began over 15 months ago.
5/31- 226.2 a new low for me so thankful to God, the past couple of weeks have been tough and this past week I not only overate but didn't work out much. Grateful and determined pretty much sum up my mood. <3
6/7- 225
6/14- 224.4
6/21- 224.8

Total Loss - 13.2 lbs. Woo hoo! It's a little bittersweet because I'm actually 2.4 lbs higher than my recent low, but I'm also going through pms.

I've conveniently had to move my weigh-ins to Sunday due to new work travel requirements, so this is perfect.

I'm trying to set the most modest goal possible. My loss per week required when I started out was around .95 lbs/wk, and since I've been losing a little faster than that (average 1.56 lbs/wk for the past 7 weeks), I only have to hit .85 lbs/wk to make it to my 2015 goal of sub-200 (199.9 counts! )

I'm really looking forward to pushing myself and connecting with all of you fabulous participants!

SW: 232.5
GW: 221.5 (-11 lbs, ~1 lb/wk)

4/5- 232.5
4/12-
4/19-
4/26-
5/3- *Running a 5k this weekend*
5/10- *1Y since graduating college; I was around 190 then*
5/17-
5/24-
5/31-
6/7-
6/14- *My cousin's graduation - a big reveal of sorts for the 3 (maybe 4) members of my family that have been trying to be health conscious lately*
6/21-

Sometimes I get a little hyper-focused on counting down the number on the scale/inches lost, so here are a few non-scale items to keep track of as I chug along here.

Non Scale Goals:
  1. 3300 exercise minutes (42.8 mins/day; 300 mins/wk)
  2. 660 yoga minutes (<10 mins/day; 60 mins/wk)
  3. Run 1 mile in under 11 mins (reduction of ~13.4 s/wk) [current pace is around 13.5 mins/mi]
  4. 154 veggies consumed (any size portion, 2 times/day)
[In case you're wondering, I'm working with the thought that there are 77 days between now (4/5) and the first day of summer]

Hi everyone! I've been back on 3FC for the past month or so, after having baby #4 in early February. I'm going slow but sure, as I am nursing my little guy and need to watch my supply.
My goal for this challenge is to lose 13 lbs, drink a minimum of 60 oz of water per day, and exercise at least twice a week. Baby steps.

I've had many NSV's this week, in addition to being the tiniest bit away (.3 lbs) from my 15 lb milestone. It has honestly been a fantastic week!

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you all had a good week. Mine went well. I was far from perfect, but I was a lot more consistent. Just not bingeing helped kick some of this water weight, I think.

I am officially below my lowest weight from my last weight loss attempt, which makes this the lowest weight I've been since I was pregnant with my now nearly 18 year old daughter.

Great loss this week, ayrenay! I like that you're keeping non weight goals too. Its so important to realize the scale is just one measure of success.

Regardless of how the scale treated you this week, I hope you all found something to celebrate. It all about the progress, not perfection.

Thank you!!! I've been participating in a daily accountability thread, so the number was not a surprise before the decimal point. I didn't know if I was going to hit my milestone today, but I found myself already resolving to be proud of whatever number came up. Sometimes I get impatient with my journey, but this week really helped solidify my point of view: weight loss is a side effect of living my life unapologetically in a way that fills me with joy.

When you've got that much power in the thought that's lifting you up, five pounds or .5 pounds, lose or gain, it's so much easier to think about the life that you're building for yourself and what that means for you.

And, definitely, the same (great loss! great efforts!) to you! Congratulations on hitting that milestone!

Jumping back in. Hoping to drop 7 pounds.

SW 153.2
GW 146.2

4/05- 153.2
4/12- Did not weigh-in.

Had a bad week I broke my back in December; even though it has healed very well, it is still fragile... so I pulled it out. I was confined to my chair for days. And I felt bummed out and sorry for myself and I ate my sorrows away, or least tried -- Did not work, though. Ha! So I feel like a bloated pig right now. I am sure I am carrying atleast 5 pounds of water weight; everything feels so swollen. Plus, I am nearing TOM as well... I did not want to get totally depressed, so I have not stepped on that scale. I will wait for a few days; eat clean, drink my water, watch my calories and exercise, since my back feels much better right now.

I will face the scale on Wednesday and record that weight.

Summer is upon us and I really would like to wear my flirty dresses and skirts, but they are size 6 and I am inching towards the size of 10 right now. 8's are feeling snug. -- The problem is, and this may be a great thing; I gave all my 10's away last summer when I was 6/8... I vowed not to balloon; well, I did not do that good of a job with that promise... BUT, I shall not buy anything new in 10...easier to drop the weight. So, if I have only joga pants to wear, I will grow tired of looking frumpy everyday!

Hope everyone is doing well!!

I read this, this morning " Weight loss is like driving; If you ever veer of the road, just make a U-turn and head back in the right direction!" A little motivational quote for all.
