I like Health Smart's Cream of Tomato, Proti-Thin's Cream of chicken and their Broccoli Cheese soup.
They are not like IP, but they are ok. I always sautee mushrooms and red peppers with garlic and pepper, then pour the mixed soup into the pan so it gets the saute flavor. I add a little more salt and pepper. I add curry powder into the chicken soup.
With these additions, they all taste good to me! I also do this with the IP soups.
Note: the Proti-thin broccoli soup is not really like the IP version. Adjust your expectations. But the price is less than half of the IP and it works just fine. I incorporate some Ip broccoli cheese soup and a la king twice a week for a treat!

Thanks so much! I haven't had any IP products at all, so I am open to all suggestions with little expectations! And thanks for the ideas for additions - just getting to the point of looking for new ideas
Golden Goddess soup (makes multiple portions so keep track of your veggies when making)
Ingredients
simmer with a bit of water:
• 1/2 orange tomato
• a few orange cauliflower florets
• 2 yellow mini bell peppers
• 2 orange mini bell peppers
• a few slices yellow summer squash
• a few slices orange zucchini
• a few vidalia onion slices (optional, these are not caramelized so ok to simmer)
• salt, pepper and a dash red pepper flakes!!!
simmer all for about 8-10 mins then puree into a golden soup!!
Can substitute other vegetables as in season or preferred: including roasted red peppers, cherry tomatoes, shopped up cloves of garlic, green peppers, different spices such as basil, oregano, curry powder, etc. The colour and taste varies depending on the ingredients.
Note: The ingredients listed make soup for several portions. Remember that you are only allowed a maximum of 4 vegetable portions per day (and watch for restricted veg like tomatoes).
