Default C25k in 2015

I'm seeing a C25k for 2014, but no posts since November, and just a couple of individual threads asking questions. Is it ok to start a 2015 thread? I've promised several people I'll be racing this year, and I've got to start training. Anyone else working on it?

I am! This fall got the best of me and I went 5+ months without running. I'm young and have always been athletic, so I may abbreviate it a little bit. I'm excited to get back into the running habit as I always feel so much better. Today I'm finishing up week 1.

Hi
Yes I've just finished week 4! I've been on it since the end of summer because I've had to take a couple of long breaks due to one reason or another. But I'm back on it! Can't say I'm as motivated as I once was, which is disappointing, but I go to the gym 3 times a week now anyway so it is something I just automatically do as soon as I get there. Hope I'll find myself enjoying it again once I get past week 5 (which is as far as I've gotten over the past 6 months!)

I'm going to start in a couple of months, I hope. I want to get my weight down more before I start to protect my bad knee...

I would like to start this program and stick with it. I've started and stopped twice now. I haven't exercised for a while, so I'm totally out of shape. I feel like I need to ease into this. My goal this week is to walk on the treadmill daily, even if its just for 10 minutes. I figure if I at least get on it daily, I'll be more willing to follow a plan in the following week or 2.

I'll be back if I can get my act together and get started.

Good luck psychic! This is my third attempt at doing it and it's well worth it! I got this far before and gave up because I moved back to uni, now I'm doing at uni I'm more positive that I'll keep it up! It's not been great at burning calories so far but I feel like it's given me the tools to burn more calories! I'm on week 6 day 2 tomorrow, the last of the interval training, and I'm really looking forward getting back to the longer runs as I run the intervals faster and I feel like I want to die by the end of it :P
