I have just done the slimming world success express week and I counted the calories at the same time to see what I consumed and it actually worked out at around 750-1000 a day and it made me feel incredibly healthy.

Never come across this new flexible one will have to give it a go.

I've heard a lot of people say that 1200 calories is the minimum you should consume for healthy, sustainable weight loss. It might be worth checking what your BMR and TDEE etc is before you begin such a diet.

For those asking for a copy, I linked it quite a few posts up. Hope it helps - it seems to be the one you're looking for.

Back when I was in college in the 70s that was the standard. They had a 1000 calorie diet and a 1200 calorie diet. ...I am looking to see if I can find and see how it compares to what I am doing now. Honestly I think if you are eating the PROPER food going even below 1000 is not an issue. There is nothing so support the starvation mode myth. The men in that experiment consumed stores of body protein because they were thin to start with. Of course your metabolism drops when you restrict calories but you still burn them
