I didn't really get started on this journey until two days ago, so I mostly stayed out of the July accountability thread, but this looks like a perfect place to begin!
My starting weight is 261 (which is 5 pounds less than it was three days ago!)
And right now I'm doing a Pyramid challenge, and my first week's goals are to drink 80 oz of water each day, and to do 30 min. of cardio once a week. Good luck to you all on yours!

Even though July ended up with an overall gain for me, I have started this month with a loss. Down 0.8 to 194.7. With some major milestones completed at work yesterday, I purposely left my laptop at the office and spent the evening with Peanut and then at the gym once hubby got home. I had to push through, because I was really tired by the time I went, but I did it. And I have sore arms and shoulders now, good sore though. I'm happy with myself today.
So a little secret I'll let you all in on: we're having an all employee meeting in September and it happens to be the day of our CEO's birthday. So we're doing a flash mob to surprise him. My idea; everyone loved it. Anyway, the point being, he's on vacation this week, so we're having an afternoon dance rehearsal at work! I'm getting paid to get my fitness on. Doesn't get better than that. Oh wait, it does! Monday is a holiday here! Yayyyy.

I bought 2 new bras today. The are a size smaller than the last bras I bought, I think this has more to do with cut/style, but I'm claiming it as a NSV anyway.
Kukkie: Well done! I'm not sure I would have had the strength to leave my laptop at work, but that's awesome. And congrats on the loss. You too, jollyjude!
patchworkpenguin: Thank you! Unfortunately, I'm up 1 lb today, but I'm still down overall this week. And nice job with the bras--no matter how you get there, getting a smaller size always feels good.
I made a bad lunch choice with lunch today, it was my mom's 8th anniversary at her job and I took her out to one of our favorite places... and had a greasy plate of fish and chips. I did choose to stick with water and diet soda to drink, which is a small success. Either way, I still feel kind of crappy.
And I'm starting a new job tomorrow, and working 14 hours between the two, so who knows how well I'll do. I'll check in between shifts if I can.
I'm out of town and don't have a lot of time on the computer, so when I get back I'll fill this in and catch up with everyone.
