Default 5 finger shoes!

I should be getting my new walking shoes in the mail today! So excited! They are 5 finger shoes and are supposed to feel natural like bare feet when walking.

There is a big lawsuit against them right now.

Yep, but I didn't buy them for health benefits. I bought them for the feel - closer to bare feet, but still have protection. Since the lawsuit wasn't for injuries related to wearing them, just false advertisement, I bought them

Took a walk with them today and it was amazing!! Still breaking them in, but I enjoyed it a quite a bit!

I saw those shoes on Zappos but I hesitated to purchase. So whats the scoop? Are they worth it?

I find them cute. and I want a pair. but they are hard to get here and I have kid size feet > less choice
I dont need them for the health benefit, but for the feel. I walk barefoot a lot but you cant walk barefoot on every surface...

Awesome, enjoy them!!!!

I have a pair of Teva sandals that are a very thin Vibram sole that mimic the feel of the 5-finger shoes but are less minimalist. I LOVE them. They are great for hiking, because I can really feel everything that's under my feet and get a good hold. I can hike in them for days.

I don't like the look of the five finger shoes but Merrel makes some similarly minimalistic shoes without the toes.

I have the aforementioned Merrels and they are alright. I like my Sketcher Go Walks with memory foam better.
