Getting Out of the 320s
Is it okay that I start a thread like this?
I don't see any, but I really like these kinds of threads. They give me something to post in... as I don't really like general chat threads..and I feel too out of place to go post this thread in the 100 lb club.
I shall start it and hope that others don't mind.
Today I weighed in at 328.7. I just recently started working out again so I'm hoping to be out of this weight group pretty soon. But no true rush. Whatever is meant to be will be. I shall keep working on it.
I have neither exercised nor eaten today. I'm about to exercise though.
I didn't exercise yesterday, as I was feeling some interesting stomach pain for two days prior behind my belly button. Towards the evening there was no pain at all. So I'm going to assume my body is just getting used to exercising again, and my stomach is having some trouble accepting that, haha. I don't think it will turn into a hernia or anything serious since it only hurt when I touched it or when I was full.. But I shall monitor it.

While I am no longer in the 320's I think this is a great idea!
Whatever helps you is also helping someone who is lurking.
Good luck! Many of us are lurking.

yup, good idea indeed - thanks for starting the thread. I just left the 320's this month and it really is all about what you eat. Exercise makes you feel good and helps out - but if what goes in is good enough, you are golden! - you can do it!

I am looking forward to the 320s! Hopefully it doesn't take me too long to get there.
What are you doing with your food? Any particular method?

Congrats! And thanks! I am definitely making more health conscious decisions when it come to my eating. I still have to find a distraction/hobby so that I'm not bored and think about eating something, haha.

I use myfitnesspal to count calories and watch my nutrient intake. I try to exercise in the morning before I start eating anything, because that helps me make better choices.
I might start the whole 5-6 small meals a day thing. I have a lot of stomach issues, so I think I would benefit from this. This would also help me not snack, since I know another small meal would be coming soon.

I am using mfp - it is really handy. Especially in reminding me how many calories are in wine.
I am on a diet that provides me with all of my food. It gives me a lot of nuts, dried and fresh fruit, and fruit cups as snacks. Maybe incorporate some of that? Almonds are REALLY good for dieting.

Lol!
Yeah, I eat things like that as well. Are you following a specific plan or just eating healthier? I am just eating healthier, not following a specific diet plan. I just bought some almonds today. I love almonds, haha.

327.4 today. It probably would have been lower but I ate something I shouldn't have that had too much sodium.

Didn't weigh today, but just wanted to share on here (with myself since I'm the only one in the 320s, haha) that I triumphed over exercising when I didn't want to. If I don't feel like it I usually will find some excuse to rationalize why I can't. But today I weighed the pros and cons working out, and clearly the pros as to why I should work out outweighed the cons. I'm proud of myself. I'm making mental progress. If I can defeat my mind I can defeat the extra fat on my body.

I'm in the 320s with ya. Great job on the exercising and you're right - a lot of it is mental, along with habit (for me). Keep it up!
