flnu: Welcome back and credit for maintaining. That is a huge deal.

AZTricia: I agree with your husband - I like a clean car to start. I think of it as a celebratory send off. Good luck at the convention. i hope it is worthwhile.

gardenerjoy and nationalparker: You were both talking about being selective. I think this is a very important component to treating myself with respect. I am choosing something to eat because it is unique and worthwhile - not because I am practicing an addiction. This is a very slippery slope. I think for me the difference comes when I have been practicing discipline and restraint - not running from it.

Sat down while eating yesterday except when I was tasting for cooking. I have to work on a solution for that. I feel like I am yearning to eat something but can't pinpoint what it is. Maybe it is that I know soon I will be on a restrictive food plan and can't stand the idea of restraint.

Exercise planned. Weight below ticker. Quiet day working at home. Boys are at the Giants/A's game.
