I use the scale given to me by my nutritional therapist. I believe it's the one from the IE book.
1. Famished, Irritable
2. Very hungry
4. Slight hunger
6. Appetite goes away
9. Overly full, stuffed
10. Sick, discomfort
I eat when I'm at a 2-3 and eat all the way to an 8.
