Momotrips, you are absolutely correct! I hardly ever get to eat out but when I do I want something tasty! I am a pretty good cook so going out and eating something bland or dry won't cut it. What's the point of going out if the food doesn't taste good? My theory is that if I really feel like I need a treat, I try to stay low carb so it generally means I will have something with a bit more fat in it. Last night we went to a local place and I had the sliders (1 each of elk, venison and bison) and just ate them without the buns but with the sauteed onions (and of course a glass of wine). Yummy stuff! Still down almost a pound from yesterday when I weighed this morning so what's the harm?
