Hi there,
I am a research student at University College London. I would like to invite you to participate in my study on developing a mobile app for healthier snacking behaviours. The study has received UCL research ethical approval (ID: UCLIC/1213/015). You will get paid
£6 online gift voucher if you reside in the UK.
Background:
Previous health research has indicated that excessive snacking has outweighed high-calorie meals as a major predictor for obesity. So some researchers at UCL have implemented several lab-proved beneficial interventions for food craving with an Android app(sorry, we haven't got an iOS app at the moment), which is meant to serve as a handy tool for self-directed snacking regulation.
The study involves using a mobile app for 1 week to regulate snacking behaviours and providing feedback that help us improve the app. The use of the app is noninvasive at all; data will be anonymised and used for research purposes only; and you can withdraw anytime.
Eligibility
You need to be aged 18 or above
You need to have access to an Android device (some features are only supported by Android version 4.0 or above)
You need to be motivated to improve your snacking behaviours
