Morning friends

It is a beautiful day here in Burlington, just outside of Toronto, not as hot and humid as yesterday. How did those in the Texas area fair with weather earlier this week? I saw on the news it looked like some big storms were headed that way.

Hope everyone has a great OP day.

Finally had my first weigh in! That seemed like the longest week ever. I didn't post the big numbers some of you had, but that didn't really surprise me. With only 20-30 pounds to lose, I expected it to be a bit less - but I'm down 3.4 pounds!

My coach did measurements first and (I'm going from memory here) it was 1 1/4 of the waist, 1 off the hips. Everything else was pretty much the same, but I carry my weight around the middle so that's where I need it to come off. My coach thought from my measurements I would be down around 7 pounds. Fortunately I'd been weighing myself throughout the week and knew that wasn't going to be the case. Otherwise I probably would have been disappointed with my 3.4. So, there's one benefit of weighing at home.

Now that I've kind of learned how this works, and what to do if I start getting cranky (eat something!) I think week 2 will go a lot smoother than week 1. A good loss week 1 definitely helps me keep motivated to stay 100% OP.

Congrats on your awesome weigh in! Week two will be easier - you're just getting the hang of things!

I misread this at first (put those glasses on!) and thought you were glad you skipped your shower! I thought 'wow, she lost that much skipping showers?'

Congratulations for a big loss.

Congrats on the excellent weigh-ins!!!!

I had my weigh-in today and am down to 151.6....soooooo close to 20 lbs lost but not there yet. I am adding more alternative products to my week, so i decided to just see my coach every two weeks. My losses are going to slow as i get closer to goal, so that will fun to see my official weight/measurements change each time i go.

I switched to One-a-Day woman's Vitamin. Do I still take 2 or just one? It has something that makes me nauseated...different than IP vitamin.

My hubby is on business trip to Germany, so not resting well and definitely have had to resist a few emotional eating thoughts. But I didn't give in!!!! I plan to reward myself with a pedicure when I get that elusive 20!

Congrats on all of the great weigh-in news! Y'all are doing a great job!

Today is a nice quiet day in my world, for which I am grateful. My mother is still visiting until Friday morning so I am going to pop into the church office and check in with my secretary and then come back home to enjoy some time with mom.

I hope everyone has a good day!
