You are rright to have second thoughts. For Phase I, it's best not to experiment with foods NOT on the list. Have you checked the FAQ section in this Forum?

Turkey IS allowed but white meat only. Also sausage frequently has fillers in it such as wheat or milk products or even sugar.

As to Breyer's Ice Cream, better check the ingredients and nutritional labelling. I bet it has hidden carbs - the -ols and -oses but it may be OK.

Once again, it's best to keep it simple during Phase I. You wouldn't want to jeopardize that great initial weightloss.
Change isnít easy. But if you donít change, you stay the same, and whereís the fun in that?
