This sounds like an awesome place, I'll have to see if it's near anything we want to see in Mexico (Randy & I have only stayed at an all inclusive once, not in Mexico though - not fond of the generally segregated nature of 'AI's.') We don't do cruises for the same reason, although I would like to do a European River Cruise or a WindJammer sailing cruise some day.
I will let you know how this is...we only do Ai's when we travel with the large family group and have the age range with young kids to contend with. We absolutely plan not
to venture out with 2 babies...LOL..in fact we will be the chief babysitters for all 4 little girls...and that is fine with us. We get so little time together for the 10 of us. ...However;if my sisters plan our sister's trips...they usually choose Ais...I usually host in my home or rent a beach house when I plan because of where we live. (Driving distance to NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, Williamsburg...and Boston is Do-able in a day too....but we are an hour from the Delaware beaches and less to Dover Downs /casinos or Atlantic City )...We consider Delaware the best place on the east coast...all the big city stuff a gas tank away...but we are a small town state!
When dh and I travel alone...we never do Ais either....and have never taken a cruise for the same reason. However
...we are contemplating the Alaskan cruise thing once he retires...want the one with the train across Canada... Any advice???!!! Since you are RIGHT close to that one!
