Some days I wish I didn't know how good clean eating is for me, or how bad processed junk is for me. Then I could continue to eat in ignorant bliss and not have to put forth so much effort into meal prep/cooking. I hope a big whoosh is coming your way!
newme - if anything, the idea of a diet has kept me from totally going nuts with weight gain. I haven't kept with it for more than 2 weeks at a time during this entire pregnancy but have managed to come back to healthy eating after every backslide. I think that in itself is a success for me since I normally gain 70 lbs while "eating for two."
Sue - no salt would probably be good for me. I use sea salt and try to not eat anything packaged, but I know some still creeps in. Sugars are being easier this go around but I've promised myself to not go too low on carbs so I'm eating fruit at least once a day and that's help my with my sugar addiction.
Today is officially day 3 and in the 2 previous days I've lost 6.2 lbs
of water weight! That's NUTS!
My body is feeling so much better. I feel like I can actually breathe and that maybe there's a little more room for baby to grow in the next 9 weeks. I'm gonna be thrilled to see July though! So, marching onward into the weekend with determination to NOT eat crappy food.
