I found my meeting to be VERY informative. They had a very nice slideshow presentation and we had a booklet with the presentation to bring home to review. She covered EVERYTHING - the appointments, the cost, the program, the maintenance afterwards, etc. They also give you phone numbers so that *should* you have any questions, you have plenty of opportunity to ask them.

From the orientation to the actual starting date of the program, it was about 6 weeks. They call you and schedule you for three appointments - 1) a psych eval 2) a physical (even if you have had one by your primary, you need one by this doctor, at least in my area) 3) a meeting with the exercise coach who takes all your measurements and discusses what you can and cannot do while on the program for health and safety reasons.

Once those appointments are done, you start the program!
