If you grew up in Greece like I did then greek yogurt is all that is available. We call it just "yogurt" and it does not have a different after taste and is not weird at all. Just saying, to some of us greek yogurt is quite normal and doesn't need any getting used to. The other stuff (what you might call normal yogurt) is runny goopy to me lol.
