Make 2014 Your Goal Year! Challenge 3/8: April Fools Day until Mothers Day
This is Challenge 3 of our 2014 Goal Year Challenge. Challenge 3 will be approximately 6-7 weeks according to when your weigh in day is and will cover April Fools Day until Mothers Day. Everyone is welcome - you don't need to have been a part of the previous challenge to participate.
Challenge 1: New Years Day to Valentine’s Day (January 1st to February 14th)
Challenge 2: Valentine’s Day until April Fools Day (February 14th to April 1st) Challenge 3: April Fools Day until Mother's Day (April 1st to May 11th)
Challenge 4: Mother's Day until Independence Day (May 11th to July 4th)
Challenge 5: Independence Day to Labor Day (July 4th to September 1st)
Challenge 6: Labor Day to Columbus Day (September 1st to October 13th)
Challenge 7: Columbus Day until Thanksgiving Day (October 13th to November 27th)
Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 27th to December 31st)
Weigh in for challenges will be once a week. Copy and paste this format or create your own, edit dates to match your weekly weigh in day. You'll be coming back each week to update your progress (find the entry and click edit). And this thread will be available for us to chat about the challenge, overcome struggles and celebrate successes.
I will post a new thread for each new challenge as they approach. This means the thread will not get super long by end of the year and anyone can jump in at any point in the year!

Can I dip down to 200 during this challenge, just in time for my first Mother's Day as a mother?!!
I've adjusted all dates to fall on Wednesdays, my official weigh-in day.

Actual weight: 205.5 notes: I'm wondering if I'll ever catch up since I kind of had a rough start. Keep moving forward regardless!

Actual weight: 207.75 notes: Ouch. Not particularly happy with this weigh-in, so I'll just try harder this week. I hope I'm due for a woosh?

Actual weight: 207 notes: Ugh. A step in the right direction, but I doubt I'll reach my goal for this one. I'm pretty proud of my C25K training though and will keep on truckin' regardless.

Actual weight: 205.5 notes: Surprised I lost 4.5 pounds this week. Still far from the goal I'd hoped for, but feeling better and ready to start the next challenge so I can finally get under 200!!! Been watching my food more closely and am nearly done with C25K.
I'm in. My goal is to loss 19 pounds per challenge. I am starting at 184 lost and hope to reach at least 203 pounds lost. It will be great to move into the 200 pounds lost category.

I'm a Sunday weigher, but I'm in too. This will be my first time doing a challenge on here, I'm really unsure how they work!

You got it!! We can totally do this. I am new to this type of forum, and I just realized it's in the 100 lb club.. I hope I can still play even though losing 100 is a pretty far goal away for me! I go by mini-goals more than anything. Thanks for helping explain it!
Stella LOL I have posted in a 20 something thread before. It doesn't matter to me as long as the topic relates to me it's just the area that the person is in that started it ... I like to think of us as a big happy family (even though you will run into a few rude people on the site most are kind) mini goals keep us motivated When I joined in 2010 I met some really nice people on my intro threads and they were in the 100lb club so I stuck with them at that time I only wanted to lose about 45lbs.
I predicted on the last challenge that I'd lose 11.6 pounds and get down to 158 (I had started at 169.6) and even though I didn't make the 150's I did lose 6.4 pounds which still makes me smile because I tried and I accomplished something Let's do this and have fun
