Question Pretty Fingers and Toes or Mani / Pedi Colors and Combos

I always think there's nothing like a mani pedi to set my mood on the upswing. When I was working I had gel manis but after I retired I went back to just painting them myself and really have had fun with changing the colors. I still get a pedi once in a while, though.

I bought a bunch of Essie polishes for a change and have been using the soft colors, sheer white Marshmallow soft pink Ballet Slippers a bit more pink Fiji and most fun the Tiffany soft blue Mint Candy Apple. Today I have on a soft copper metallic Penny talk .

My two favorites for summer toes are OPI Cajun Shrimp or Miami Beet.

Are you doing anything new and interesting to rev up for spring?

I just bought an OPI pink that I love on my toes. Can't think of the name though.

I get my fingernails done (gel), but right now I have red tips with white poka dots all over the nails. I absolutely love them. Perfect for spring

I started doing my own with tips/acrylic/gel to save money. I do every once in a while go and have them done by someone else for special occasions. I have noticed I tend to keep the ones done by a professional on longer. Whereas when I do them myself I like to change up my nails a lot.

Today I have on white tips with blue jewels on the the white and then painted curved lines in purple, blue and yellow for spring/easter.

Oh and on my toes I tend to keep just one color like a deep blue on during the summer for my brewers and green for my packers during the winter. lol

I just got a mani/pedi!!!

I got a pretty cherry red with sparkles, I love it! It feels so refreshing to get my nails done, it's so relaxing.

Take care.

It all sounds terrific! The polka dots, Easter swirls, sparkly red yes! I find a mani pedi very soothing and fun. Thanks all!!

PS I replaced the coppery metallic with Marshmallow on my fingers. I'm in Florida and wanted some thing that sings beach.

I just had a mani/pedi this afternoon for the first time in a long time and it was so nice. I always like neutral colors. Next week, I am getting a facial and my hair done.

It really makes me feel good to get pampered!

I got a pedicure a week ago. My toenails are a deep magenta, and I did my fingernails yesterday in a similar colour, but I put purple/pink/blue sparkles over top of the fingernails. My fingernails go really fast so I can only leave polishes on for 2 days max, unless it's clear or a very pale neutral colour.

Bright true red on toenails, and clear on fingernails as (sorry to brag, but) they are lovely, well shaped and my tips are naturally quite white like a French mani.

May change it up to a sparkly gold next week. Just cause... toes will stay the same for a while though.

OPI Cajun Shrimp is also my favorite for toes.

I have acrylics on my finger nails but I'm letting them grow out and clipping them off. I'm WAY over the up keep and cost. Having them taken off isn't happening. BTDT and it's awful.

I'd rather spend money on pedicures.

I do most of the yard work and gardening so I'm more concerned about scrubbing the dirt out from under my nails than painting them. But I do love a good pedicure!

I've been saving a gift certificate to the nail salon from Christmas for sandal weather (which can't come soon enough). Always been partial to cooler colors like pale blues, purples, and silver on my toes.
