Does anyone here make their own laundry soap? I heard about it on another forum and decided to try it. The one I made is easy...just water, Borax, Washing Soda and original Dawn dishwashing liquid. I used it twice, but I can't tell if it's cleaning good because my clothes don't get really dirty. I still pretreat stains.

The other recipe, you use a bar of Fels Naptha soap, shred it (in a food processor or a box grater?), and heat the water and melt the soap pieces in it, then add the Borox and Washing Soda. I will try that one after I've used up the one with the Dawn liquid.

I just wondered if anyone else has had any experience with this.
