WOOO HOOOO! I'm on vacation! and I still woke up before 6 am, darned it. At least I know I'll sleep in til 7 on Sunday, right?! (don't forget daylight savings time! It seems tooooo early to do that now....)

I have lots of little niggles to do before leaving on our trip this evening. But first, coffee and get the kids on the bus, then breakfast with a good friend.

I'm not going to be crazy paranoid about diet while gone (friends are cooking 4 of the nights), but I need to do phase I when I get back. Normally after travelling I'm more than ready to buckle down!

My daughter tells me she won't leave Chicago until she sees THE GIANT BEAN!!!

I wish you a safe and happy trip, Tammy! Chicago is such a fun city to visit. Are you fitting a visit to the American Girl Store into this trip? I hope the weather cooperates, and make sure you get some Garrett's Popcorn!

Another wfh today and I have PT in a couple of hours. I did get some accomplished items off my list yesterday. I am not sure I am liking the desk I cleared off. Monitors on different levels one too low and one too high Might have to switch some things around.

Tonight DD2 has a dance and I believe they are also done with state testing today too. DD1 has her final in nursing class praying she passes so she can move on to next one.

Sorry I been absent most of this week, but my grandmother was hospitalized and I been a little busy running to the hospital and with with kids meetings.

Hey ladies, I've been checking in every day even if not posting. Sometimes my life is so mundane there's not much to say!!

DS1 came home last night for his spring break. I was sure to add some extra meat, onions and peppers to the Tacobake last night! I swear that boy can eat a pan by himself. DS2 will come home this weekend as well. From "empty nesters" to "full housers".

We had a big warmup today: 40* when I left work. I hate to point out that is 60* warmer than when I left for work yesterday!!
