10 Days In The Life Boat #84
Welcome to the newest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.
This is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?
Grab an oar and join us doing our best to stay dry in the boat and not fall out.

There was improvement over the last leg and I was able to stay dry again yesterday!
My goals for this leg:
I'm going to try to:
1. Say NO to food in the car unless I bring it from home.
2. Stay within my WW points and....
3. Not use my extra points for unplanned eating.

Thanks for getting us launched again, Judy.
I ended the last leg strong. So, the plan for the next ten days:
1. Stick to daily points, no weeklies.
2. Keep pushing veggies.
3. Track water intake better--shooting for 100 oz.
4. Exercise: Do a Zombies, Run! mission 4 times during this leg (but not on Mon. or Tues.); do Weight Loss Yoga at least 2 times during the leg; kickboxing at least 3 times.
5. Any day that's above 40 degrees, take at least a short walk outside.

Didn't finish the last leg as strong as I had hoped, but it was an improvement.
This leg I will stay on plan with food and exercise.

May I join in?
I'm Jennifer--but use the online name of Jazzi Belle. it makes me feel young and active, lol
I "woke up" about 10 days ago to the horror of my all time high weight of 285 on a petite frame of 5'3 1/2 ".
I like the idea of little goals so the 10 day life boat sounds great to me! I've also been looking for a group to chat with here.
What I am going to do starting today is
1) Drink water! I sip at it all day, but need to start chugging it
2) stick to my PLAN of lowfat protein + veggies for dinners
3) try to walk 3 times / week
I really need to see the scale go down!!!!! I know I could post bigger goals, but I'm trying to pick modest ones that I may actually be able to accomplish.

Welcome Jennifer!
Here's an oar and a seat cushion. Pick a seat and start rowing. We're all about small goals here.

Thank you J-ann. Loving the cushion!
I'm making my food lists and going to do my week's shopping in a bit. I'm going to drive an extra 30+ minutes to go the fancier grocery store that has a decent salad bar in it. Big salad for dinner, woohoo!

Welcome, Jennifer! It's always good to have more arms rowing. I'm a little shorter than you
I stayed dry yesterday, though my exercise was nothing on my list… I spent 2 hours on a step stool attempting to replace some 48-inch recessed fluorescent tubes. Did not succeed, but did a lot of huffing & puffing and have muscle aches all over this morning… Anyway, somehow I did all that and managed to stay in the boat.
By the way, I think our destination this time is the big island of Hawaii. That cool with you all? I don't have a passport, but if I see one more snowflake I'm going to scream.

Hawaii sounds great--as long as I can wear one of those big gauzy wraps. I am NOT ready for bathing suits!
I stayed in the boat on my first day out. yay!
I didn't mean to be overly conscious of calories but discovered a calorie counting app from Livestrong that I could download to my new tablet. I was pleasantly surprised to find all the brands of foods I ate in their database, so ended up counting calories, water & the little exercise that I did.

Welcome Jennifer!
Hawaii sounds perfect. I'll be along a little later. I am swimming in shark infested waters!

Dry yesterday. Completed a Zombies, Run! mission. So that leaves 3 missions, 2 yoga sessions, and 3 kickboxing sessions.
Before we get to Hawaii, I think we'd better row back to pick up Ubee. We're coming for you!
Jennifer, you can wear anything you want on vacation
I can't see land yet, but the view is still fine.
