Default Just had abdominoplasty

Erg, just typed this long message and it got erased. So readers digest:

Single parent of one, husband is in the navy
Teacher
RNY gastric bypass, July 2012
Doc said I'd get 208, I said eff that and made it to 155. Exactly 50%
Became a gym rat, heavy lifting and HIIT
Found an incisional hernia this past January, had that fixed and skin removal at the same time.
Surgery was Thursday 27FEB
only have one drain and a pain pump, both are due out on Monday.
Trying my best to heal and rest.

Thanks! I think I was fortunate, in that I carried most of my weight in my middle, so I didn't have much arm fat to lose. But as soon as the doc cleared me at my year checkup, I hit the gym big time. I follow a program called New Rules of Lifting for Women. It's about how heavy weight lifting benefits our bodies. I'm not trying to look like a guy or anything, but it's helping me become fit. And my doc said that the condition I got myself to pre-op has aided in the healing process.
