Ubee - If you drink tea maybe you could use that as a comfort? It is cold and overcast here so coffee and tea sound amazing to me.

I am going to attempt to play games with the Xbox Kinect with my 4 1/2 year old today. This should be interesting

Terra glad to hear you are good and walking the pounds away.
I am in a slump kinda mood. Wanting to take a break from healthy eating which I know I can not but still it is nagging at me today. I did splurge a little when hubby and I went out for lunch now I have to rein it back in.

Happy Friday everybody!

Getting ready to be "offline" for the weekend. Feel like I've had a good, strong week, and the weekend weather is supposed to be pretty good.

I'll get in some good walks, and try to be reasonable in my eating... Anything above that, I'll count a bonus!

Ubee— You can do it, gal! Remember your word for the year—"Serenity" wasn't it?—and how much more serene and also energized you are when you are on track with your Grain Brain diet. If you're really feelin' the urge to splurge, you could fight it off by thinking about how you want to be healthy and lose weight, which is a stronger part of you than how you may feel like eating something off-plan. Fill up your belly with hot tea or broth, distract yourself with something entertaining, and hang in there. I'm rooting for you!

Not such a good day for me...made a bad mistake at work and I feel just awful. I'm skipping dinner tonight and going to bed soon. Poor DH is going to have to fend for himself.

Ubee, hang in there...try and focus on the amazing progress you've made to fight those temptations.

Today was tough and I appreciate all the support. I needed it!
I focused, had warm drinks and came out of my funk.
I realized: I must have balance and be patient.
Overeating does not make loved ones healthy, bring back loved ones from the dead, pay bills, make the weather nice, make mean people nice, make one younger or more attractive,...

Wanted to add; Bea hope everything turns out OK and I hope tomorrow is a better day.
