I think it was also significant that when people were on low carb they were not told to restrict calories. This makes them sustainable. I firmly believe low fat diets are the primary reason people Yo Yo.

And even though the low carb diets were not calorie restricted, people's blood work got better compared to the low fat, calorie restricted ones.
