Default Running at high altitude

So I had plans to start C25K but my plans have ow change and next week I am going to the Alps to work for 2 months! Will the altitude effect my ability to run and my progress?

I will be learning to ski too so hopefully that will help shred a couple of lbs too!

it will be harder to breathe at a higher altitude so will probably take some adjustment. what elevation will you be living at? olympic runners try and train at higher altitudes I think because then it is then easier to run at sea level.
