That sounds like a good idea. Let me know how it works out for you. I was able to lose about 12 lbs. just doing low carb with moderate calorie intake at the start. Now it's taking a little bit more effort on my part to lose weight.
I weighed in at 150 this morning. Woohoo 7 pounds down in 3 days!
