Hi my name is Laura and I live in Essex I'm 43 and have managed my weight up until I was 32 I then had a operation and also found out I have a under active thyroid at my heaviest I was 16 stone I am now 13.7 but need to be 11 I know I will be happy in my own skin then I am active I go to the gym 4 times a week I count my calories but the weight just won't shift so lots of help needed also I hope to make some like minded friends

I'm your age Congratulations on losing almost 3 stones so far!
I don't have experience with an under active thyroid, but I've read that it is not easy to get the weight off. Perhaps you could review your calorie intake to see if it helps with the weight loss? You sound as if you're quite active so I would be looking at the food consumed rather than the activity level.
