Why would it be depressing looking for new clothes? Just get over what weight you are and treat yo' self! It's completely possible to buy clothes for your size and feel comfortable and confident. I see beautiful and stylish women of all shapes and sizes down to confidence. It's best to dress to your current size, don't wait to be at a goal weight to feel good with how you look. I made that mistake and as soon as I started to buy clothes for me at this present moment I've felt so much better about myself! Chin up, we all have those days! Don't beat yourself up!
