Default "Every Day" 21 Day Challenge 2013 (Ongoing, Newbies Welcome) Part 2

It works like this: you decide you'll do something for 21 days straight, every single day, so keep it doable. With a pause day you pause in your counting and continue the next day with the number you left off with. Pause days are NOT substitutes for days, i.e. Day 12 -- Day 13 -- Pause Day -- Day 14..... I suggest taking a pause day late in the game (better to go back to Day 1 early on) if you need a break or screw up when you're well into the challenge, meaning, when you're on Day 15 or something like that.

In any case, the trick is to keep going. The momentum builds and it's great incentive to stick to your guns, cause if you don't.........back to START you go. And the really great thing about this challenge is that you are forming new habits that will wipe out the old! AND, you get to do it with a great bunch of really supportive people to whom you are accountable!

There is NO shame in starting over. Remember, it's not over till you give up. And our motto around here is:

NEVER GIVE UP!!...Just start OVER!!




(This challenge was originally started by redballoon. I looked for new threads, but the last one was in December, 2011. I always found this challenge motivating, so I'm reviving it.)

My challenge will be to drink at least 100 ounces of water each day for the next 21. I am not going to allow myself any pauses because I need to make this happen! I know that I can do it if I focus!

11/7: 102 oz
11/8: 118 oz
11/9: 102 oz
11/10: 131 oz - wooo!
11/11: 110 oz
11/12: 134 oz

My challenge will be to drink at least 100 ounces of water each day for the next 21. I am not going to allow myself any pauses because I need to make this happen! I know that I can do it if I focus!

Hey ladies, I'm new here This looks like a great place to start. The hardest part for me is snacking before bed. My goal is to not binge in the evening (after dinner) right before bed. I'll rate this at a 2 for I know I'm able to do this but its very difficult for me.

11/17-not only did I not snack before bed, but I didn't binge at all today
11/18-another good day! 2 days in a row without a binge and stayed with in my 2000 cal limit =]
11/19-an ok day, stayed in my cal range without evening snacking... had a hard time with it so I just went to bed early

Thanks for the welcome Stephanie Thinking about this challenge and reading inspiring stories and feeling I'm not struggling alone in this has helped me as well... I'm glad I found this forum <3

10,000 steps a day, no pauses allowed- I've been wearing a pedometer and close to this goal for over a month, so I think I can do it!

WOW 10,000 a day!! wow... I have trouble with 7500! GOOD or GREAT for you!

Sorry that I haven't been posting but I have been drinking! So busy at work!! Ugh!!

Welcome appmom and sweetcheeks! You can do it!! When you feel like snacking or skipping your steps - just think of this challenge!! It is so helpful!! :-)

Wannaskip.... you did it before and you will do it again!! Just keep plugging! Don't get down on yourself for missing a day because you have met your goal way more days than not lately! :-)

Hey so I think I'll try this too! I have a hard time sticking to new plans so I'm gonna start off pretty easy, though it'll still be a challenge for me. I'm going to try and drink 6 glasses of water a day. Right now I drink.. maybe one? I realllly don't like water. lol. We'll see how this goes!
