Thanks for that. It is a nice feeling when a man sees the world from our point of view.

I'm a bit slow but the point of this story went way over my head.

Some guy who runs a clothing company doesn't make yoga pants for bigger women and makes some insensitive comments.

Male of unknown height and weight finds he is a woman's size 20 and is bummed out because he thought he should be a size 8 max.

The point is .... this guy is completely ignorant that men are on average much bigger tham women?

Obviously there is another point so maybe someone can explain it to me?

^^this^^

edited to add: Though I have to agree, the Lululemon guy saying you can't wear their pants if your thighs rub is totally bogus. Those pants are $98 or something. They shouldn't fall apart if your thighs rub. On the flip side, I don't know why the author thinks yoga pants are supposed to be "the most... durable pants out there." It's not like they're for trekking or spelunking. They're for going to Starbucks. ;-)

I thought they were for yoga and exercise. And trekking.

Yoga can be quite difficult and rough on your clothes. Particularly if you are are doing bikram hot yoga which definitely requires yoga pant made from a high quality material which usually means you go to Lululemon. Or at least I use to!

Its weird tho thats hes a size 20 and says hes a M in mens. Im a size 10 womens and I wear small-medium mens, albeit medium in mens is loose fitting on me. But still even if small is the better mens size for me and im a size 10 does it really jump 10 sizes? is a large mens the same as a size 30 womens? I'm a size 10 and have no issue with yoga pants either...I didnt at a size 26 either tho then I was buying them at plus size stores. I find lululemon way over priced but I get yoga pants in regular stores with no issue. Anyways I think its his general man-shape that makes him a size 20 in clothes designed for a womans body, not that mens and womens clothing sizes are so askew that a size 20 woman isnt plus sized but is merely a medium mens..cause I know when I was a size 20 I wasnt fitting into a medium mens anything, I had to wear xxl mens. I still have the xxl mens hoodie I bought when i was a size 20 and now me and my fiance can both fit into it and zip it up all the way with room left over for a small child. I even thought about us going as some sort of two headed ogre thing for halloween cuz it fits us both in so well, so I really doubt a size 20 womans is merely a mens medium...male and female body shapes are different.
