25/30 Pound Goal - Let's Do It Together - Thread2
Hi Ladies,
Starting with a new thread here for our group. Looks like the previous one got closed by a site administrator due to the length. That means we have done a lot of sharing in the past year. Good job!! Let's keep it up.
If your looking to lose 25/30 lbs of weight, and want to share and support others with similar goals, this is the place for you. We welcome you to this thread.

Renee-I will be heading out this week to Vermont, Maine, and Kentucky to spend time with family. I am mentally preparing for the cooler weather. I will have to be careful with the food choices too, since I know there is so much to see and choose from. Families are loving and they always cook way to much good food. Hopefully I will be able to do some walking while there. Hope your going somewhere fun!

We're not going too far from home...hard to get away for more than a few days, I have to get someone to take care of the horses. I've never see Lake Erie, so that's where we're headed. It's about 7 1/2 hours away. We're going to make a few stops along the way. You're coming at a great time. The foliage is beautiful this time of the year! Have a safe trip....

Corinna, are you driving from Vermont to Kentucky? If you are, I would love to have you stop in Pennsylvania to visit and stretch your legs

Morning-
I can't see Jillie's photos I wonder why? I just get tiny blue boxes.
Dee - sorry you ended up in the hospital. This thyroid thing is serious. I had horrible palps, HBP (on meds now), insomnia, anxiety etc. I hope you can find a way to level things off.
Hoping all the travelers have a safe trip!!

Found Y'all! You can run, but ya can't hide!!! haha
Chicks...I have had a terrible time with pictures. Every time I shrink them to the proper pixel size, they still get rejected as a failed upload on the attachment page. I tried using a link to an online picture album but the links were removed
Any suggestions? I think it's nice for us to be able to share pics so we are more than just a name to each other. I get frustrated because I can't get it to work.
Walked a mile+ today with a new app called RunKeeper. Nice app for both android and iPhone. Maps your route and progress, then syncs to MyFitnessPal.

Hi Renee!
Thanks for the offer. That is so kind of you. It would be fun to meet. However, I will be flying on that part of the trip. So I will just have to wave at you from the plane as we fly by. Thanks for thinking of me though. Now back to packing. Hope you have a good trip too.
Cynthia

Cynthia, have a wonderful, safe, fun trip. Maybe someday we will meet. (I thought your name was Corinna!) We leave tomorrow morning for a 4 day get-away.
Deelou, you are doing good this week! I also love Sundays and Church get-togethers. I am so blessed to be a member of a friendly country church.

Hello Newbie here...I'm following the ITG Diet plan with my husband and we have both lost almost 70lbs...I have about 25lbs. to go...and it's brutal..like any other diet I've been on over the last 25 years..lol. We went off for a while and didn't do what we knew we should and the weight started to creep back on..now we are determined to get back to our goals. The new ITG foods are great and help keep the diet simple. The coaching is great to..keeps me compliant. Best of luck to all 50+ for success in getting healthy!

Gosh Girls.....I hope you can find out good news about your thyroids. I've heard that the thyroid is one of the hardest things to regulate with meds...and there's a lot of trial and error to get it functioning correctly. Try to be patient and make sure you have a dr who's LISTENING to you! Some docs don't even think about checking the thyroid, or going thru the steps to find the right dosage.
Well, we're busy closing up our place in NC...headed back to central FL, where we spend our winters with much of our family, on Friday or Saturday. Have been walking this week, trying to get in a mile a day. Today I might do two miles....we'll see :-D Weighed this morning and I finally cracked 180!!!! 179.2. I'll take it!
Have a good afternoon, Chickies!

Finally got the manage attachment thingy to work. The picture below is of the mini high school reunion we had last week. I'm 2nd from the right....and that's My Hubster next to me. We all met in grade school and graduated together in 1969. So.....that means we are all 62 Attachment manager will only allow me to post one pic at a time...so stand by for more. I'd like to see some of y'all too!
