Thankful Thursday SBD Daily Chat, October 24
Good Morning
I'm always thankful for all of you who continue to post here day in and day out! I have so much going on right now and I know I'd have bailed on my food plan long ago without you all. Thanks!
What's on your agenda today? Stop by and say hi!

I do enjoy this group - even if I'm not eating as well, checking in here makes me at least think of eating healthy!
I had a great run yesterday, and I was going to say it was a beautiful day...but it wasn't! It was all drizzly (I'd rather run in drizzle than on the dreadmill), but it was still beautiful with all the leaves and everything.
Today is my long day, hopefully not quite as crazy as Tuesday. But, tomorrow is Friday!

Thursday On The Beach Daily Chat for 10/24
It's a bundle-up Thursday here this morning, and when I turned on the porch light it looked like snow out there! Thankfully, it's just a heavy frost.
I did end up being a 7th grader with Audrey for part of the day yesterday, and I really enjoyed it. Her school has some great teachers who know how to make their classes fun and keep the kids' attention.
This morning I have a hair appointment before work, and then I'm going to spend the morning packing china and silverware at Susie's. It's still pretty hard to spend any time in the house, as it brings back so many happy memories, but it has to be done since some friends of Richard's will be staying there while their house is being built.
Well, I'd better get my salad made before it's time to go. Have a great OP day, and keep chugging the water!

Good morning! Thanks for starting us up, Lexxis. You sure are a busy person!
Cottage, the frost sure IS on the pumpkin this morning - the one on the steps looked white instead of orange. I guess "it" is really coming.
at Tammy's "Checking in here makes me at least think of eating healthy!" I have not been sticking to plan. My ticker is fibbing again! Too bad colder weather makes me want carbs. Time to make a stash of bean soups for the freezer.
Poor Jazz is very sad this morning because had had no breakfast and the community water dish is moved. He goes for the tooth cleaning at 8:30. Poor baby. I've no idea why his back teeth are so bad - he does eat the right kinds of food - nice hard and crunchy stuff.
After that I meet with my bank lady to go over some things. We usually go out for lunch afterwards but I may opt out, using Jazz as an excuse. Sure would be handy to pick him up on the way home and come home to the last bowl of lentil soup!
Off I go to get Thursday cranked up and be at the vet in 45 minutes!

Good morning.
I enjoy my daily visit here too, but have gotten lazy about posting since some days my life is really that boring. Like yesterday, when the most exciting news is that I had to wear gloves on my hike for the first time. I also decided to stop with my allergy medication in hope that the ragweed is either low enough now not to bother me or about to be killed by the cooler morning temps.
Today is a busy one for me. I work 11-2, then get my hair done, and this evening we have our dinner group. The menu is a chili cook off - so somewhere in my day I am making a vegetarian version so DH will have something to eat tonight. And food porn will abound.
Have a great day.

Karen, I too have a pretty boring life. Everyday: "I work today". Except Sundays. We like you visiting here though .
Ruth, you ain't kiddin' with the bad food. But, I think it's your instincts trying to chub up for the winter. Makes us survivors, right?!

Good afternoon
Hey another boring person. I have very different interests like weaving, spinning yarn, knitting and beading. Sometimes I feel like the oldest hippy alive (although I don't have long hair, wear a poncho, birkenstocks or smoke.....). I feel like not too many people are interested in these things. Had a young woman who just didnt understand why I would waste time weaving teatowels,
Take care
Sophie

None of us are boring or we wouldn't enjoy each other's posts Sophie I think your hobbies are quite cool and interesting. I self taught myself how to knit. Although, I must keep it basic, I still find it enjoyable. The older, I mean wiser I get, the more I appreciate keeping things simple. If that makes me boring, so be it because I am happy.
if it were not for this group I do not believe I would be successful in maintaining my WL. I am grateful for each and every chick here

Good evening from another chick with a sedate life (I am not calling it boring). Busy day today. Had a hard time dragging myself out of bed since it seemed so cold and dark. It makes me worry that I feel this way and it is only October! But I managed to get the Creamy Mexican Casserole in the crockpot on my way out. This evening the village had a pre-Halloween event for the kids, there were activities and giveaways and the children wear their costumes. I'm the advisor for a club at the school and we had a table as well. It was fun but COLD! I am hesitant to mention this but there were a few flakes in the air this afternoon...but nothing stuck.
I will echo all the chicks that said this website is a huge key to continued success on my quest for weight maintenance and healthy eating. I enjoy checking in even when I don't have time to post and love the extensive recipe section for the days I need something new and different.
Thanks, chicks!

Just checking in. About to head to bed. Glad tomorrow is Friday! Too bad I took an OT shift on Saturday, LOL
I was supposed to find out today if I was going to be sent to Atlanta on business, but HQ never called my boss. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. If I go, it's supposed to be all next week. All expenses paid and $100 incentive bonus. Go me!
Anyway, just thought I'd pop in. Hope everybody is doing well!
