Default Question about daily points

Good Morning!

I started weight watchers (again) at the beginning-mid July and I have lost 26 pounds so far! This week I have been trying to eat less points. I get 26 daily points and I am trying to eat no more than 22 per day. I have not lost any weight so far this week! Is it because I havent been eating all 26 points?

Probably. They tell us in meetings that we need to eat all our daily points. Also are doing well with water intake?. If you eat the say thing all the time that can do it to. Try switching things up. Good luck.

I try to drink plenty of water. Usually 3-4 bottles per day and I walk about 4 miles a day. I could do better on the veggies..

Are they 8oz bottles of water?

I would eat all your daily points and see if your weight loss starts up again.

Wow, 26 pounds in 10 weeks is pretty fast. Were you typically eating all your points before this week? What about weekly points? Why did you decide to start eating less? If it was to lose quicker, or to keep up the rapid loss you had before, that will always backfire. We tend to lose slower the closer we get to goal.

Still eat your 26 Pts but try eating the lower end of the Pts. Example is some times things might be 1/8c is 0pts, 1/4c and 1/3c is 1pt and 1/2c is 2 Pts. So eat a 1/4c in stead of 1/3c. Same Pts but less calories.

Just something to try.

I had been eating all of my points prior to this week. I started eating less points because I was hoping to lose weight faster! Which obvioulsy didnt work =(

I limit myself to only 3 or so 0 point foods per day.

Unfortunately, I can't eat ANY weekly points or I will not see any weight loss at all.

Thanks for all of the responses! I ate all of my points yesterday and had a loss this morning!

I have been using all of my daily points, except for a day here and there where I might have a couple left over. Most days I actually dip into my weekly points and by the end of the week I generally don't have many weekly points left. I don't count activity points. I have been losing pretty well. I started WW's four weeks ago and I've lost 12 or 13 pounds already. I definitely don't feel deprived. I would first try to follow the program as it says and then if you're not happy with the results you can tweak it. You lost 26 pounds already so I would just keep doing whatever you were doing.

Mandy has a wonderful point. Tweak it for you, but you are obviously doing something affecting your body.
