Up until now, I've tracked my walking (outdoor) and my other exercise (indoor) separately. Given that Fall is upon us here in Canada, it's tough to predict what the weather will be like and thus difficult to know how much indoor vs. outdoor exercise I will do. So, beginning this month, I will simply track total exercise minutes...whether outdoor walking or other indoor exercise.
So, following that lengthy preamble, I shall get to the point!
I think an October exercise goal of 2,500 minutes is a reasonable target... a bit of a stretch but nonetheless achievable.
So last month I went above and beyond what I thought I could reach. I set a miles goal of 40 miles and by the end of September I had reached 137 miles. It was all thanks to working hard on the cardio machines at the gym! So this month I’m setting a target that I never believed I’d be able to do in one single month! I didn't meet my gym goal in September so I'm going to stick to 20 times again and try reach that target. Here is to October, best of luck everyone.

I am joining this month!!! I will do the three levels since I would like to do better then I plan I will keep track of minutes that I exercise. I will update weekly.

Last month I (barely) met my acceptable level -- I had to walk 2 times yesterday just to meet the miles, and go to the gym...I am tired today and my poor doggie does not want to get out of bed . So this month I am really going to push myself for the desired level and maybe Wow I Did It! sprinkled in.
Thanks Joy! I am shooting for 1 lap (1.2 miles) a day walking in the walking park. For the days that the weather isn't cooperating, I have bought a small stepper and I will use it for 20 minutes instead. For any day that I may be sick or hurt, I will accept making up the exercise on another day, as long as I get it all in during the month of October!
Edited to add: I'm going to simplify this. I went on another walk this evening so that I could time it, and it's approximately 20 minutes, so if I do 20 minutes walking or 20 minutes on the stepper each day, that equals 620 minutes for the month.
GOAL: 620 minutes walking and/or stepping
