Good morning all!!! Have a glorious OP weekend.
Congrats to all the scale and tape movers this week! Great job!
The plan works, someone said yesterday that they have never been this size at this weight. It's so true, I've been thinking that alot lately, I'm wearing a smaller size weighing a bit more than the last time I wore that size. I'm good with that!

So true and I too am ok with at. My friend and I are both 5 weeks on IP, she goes to a clinic and I do not. I told her it feels like the inches leave before the pounds, I can feel it by the way my slacks fit. At her last weigh in at the clinic she lost 0 pounds but 3 pounds of fat was gone. She didn't care about the scale not moving because she understands how the program works and her pants were feeling looser all week.
If you are OP the weight and inches will come off!! Loving this program, I am down 4 pounds this week and better still I'm ready to shop in my closet for a pair of jeans that don't slide off my hips!! Have a great weekend all

What a beautiful weekend...the weather seams a little cooler along the Gulf Coast of Alabama (hope it stays cooler!!) Sent teen son off to work at the Corn Maze for opening day & have some cleaning & sewing of patches on a Boy Scout sash to do today (lost 1 merit badge - oops!). NSV - one of my co-teachers asked how much I had lost (first day to wear jeans to school & not my comfy teaching clothes). Here's hoping I get my tasks completed early so I can enjoy the weekend OUTDOORS!

Day number 2 for me hoping that's nasty headache doesn't rear it's ugly head today. I rated myself an 8 for day one, I stuck to plan with the exception of one added packet, coach said that was fine and wouldn't mess up Weightloss.
Breakfast- I had the cappuccino packet with strong brewed southern pecan coffee added 2 splend it was VERY Good.
Lunch- Blueberry Cran GranataDrink and a big salad with lemon and EVOO.
Dinner- not sure hubby will grill or bake something with veggies.
Praying for a fab 2nd day.

Good Saturday morning!
I just want to say thank you to everyone for the encouragement yesterday both for reaching Onederland and the eye surgery! It means a lot to know that there are people rooting for me
The post-op appointment went well, the doctor says my eyes are healing fine and that I could drive so I got the restriction removed off my license - first time in 30 years I'm allowed to legally drive without corrective lenses - yay
It's rainy and cool today so I'm just hanging out, taking it easy curled up under a blanket. Going to see a movie tonight with my niece and little great nephew - should be fun! Trying to decide what to bring for a snack - strawberry wafer or cookie dough swirl bar - tough choice
Jo

I am looking to make a baked pasta that I can store in the freezer and reheat by the serving. I am planning on doing this using the Proti-Thin Protein pasta. (I am using it as an alternative to IP's Rotini.) Has anyone done this? Last time I tried it with Miracle Noodles, which caused a mess upon trying to reheat the frozen portion. I don't want to waste my noodles if someone already knows it won't work.
Thanks!

Greetings! Are you the official recipe reviewer? Have no idea if this is original or not, but my coach had never heard of it, and I've been using this to make soft tacos and fajitas - so this is my submission for your review I use the IP potato puree + 3 1/2 oz of warm water (7 Tbsp), and make 2 tortillas out of that by spreading it thin in 2 circles (oh...about 6-8 in diameter?) on a hot griddle sprayed with Pam. Let them brown, both sides. Stuff with whatever you'd stuff a tortilla with. They hold together great and I think they are delicious!

I'm not the official reviewer but I have a blog where I've reviewed a few recipes using IP food. The link is at the bottom of my signature.
I've found that I really enjoy cooking with the IP packets and trying out new things. There are so many recipes on this fantastic website, I thought I would start reviewing them!
I am going to try your taco shell recipe tomorrow. They sound great! I will let you know when the review is up. Although I am planning on having chili for dinner, so maybe if I make it thick, I can have it with taco shells...
If anyone else has recipes that you love, like, or are afraid to try, let me know!!
