I had bloodwork drawn last Friday after being on Atkins for almost 4 full months. I do not cheat at all so this is a good testament to the diet itself and I will use these numbers to prove to anyone in doubt that this eating plan is perfect for my body. My doctor was THRILLED with my 43 lb loss AND with the bloodwork results. He told me that even though he feels Atkins is a very tough plan to follow, his patients that do follow the diet have amazing blood readings. The first number is my result – then I also included the acceptable range to the right of each item.
I do take supplements suggested by Atkins (CO-Q10, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Pro-Biotic Acidolphilus, Chromium Picolinate)
