Default Filling Foods

Do you have some go-to foods that reliably kill a case of the hungries for you?

For me, it's greek yogurt (especially the full fat kind). A glass of milk along with some peanut butter toast also does the trick. Cottage cheese too. Looks like dairy's my clear ally here.

How about you?

Pureed vegetable soup. A cup of 100 calorie soup can fill me up for hours if it's thick.

Sweet potato and beans. A small portion leaves me stuffed.

It is similar to yours, Crispin!

Cottage cheese is definitely a favorite of mine as well- dash of garlic salt and I eat it with veggies (bell peppers, celery, carrots and cukes) as a dip.

Peanut butter with chopped golden raisins or dates and cinnamon mixed in and some apples or celery for dipping.

Greek yogurt with some honey and pecans.

1 cup of fresh cherries or mangoes- totally filling!

I think big salads are filling, especially if there's lots of crunchy things in there with the greens to make it take even longer to eat. Spinach with bell peppers and grape tomatoes are my easy favorite.

Riddy I love salads too. I wish they filled me up too! They can, but only if they have protein, preferably meat.

I found another filling food for me. I made a smoothie with a cup of milk (1%), about 3/4 of a frozen banana, and half a scoop of protein powder. Total cals 250. I'm drinking it now and am so stuffed from it I won't be able to finish. And I was v hungry when I started on it! The texture is so silky and creamy too.
