Default 120lbs down

Hi everyone! I've not post in quite sometime. I wanted to share my 120lbs weight loss. July 28,2013 was my year anniversary of my new lifestyle. I have been plateaued for several weeks now. I weigh 190lbs and have stayed at the same weight during my plateau. I'm still eating healthy and exercising but the weight isn't coming off. I would like to lose another 50lbs that would put me at my goal weight. Susie

Hi suzie, CONGRATS on your weight loss that's a HUGE accomplishment.
I've noticed that for me when it comes to the last 50-60 pounds of your ideal weight, it tends the be the hardest to get rid of. The best thing that works for me is strait cardio(ZUMBA)for at least 1 hour EVERYDAY, and I mean everyday. Sometimes I take Saturday off but that's once a month.
Maybe adding more cardio to your routine will help. Also I know muscle confusion is good too. Try something a little different and your body will have to react to the new activity.
Good luck and keep going!

Susie!!!
And thank you very much for sharing! I've heard the saying "A year ago, you'll be glad you stayed on plan today" several times today, and your story really helps to confirm that! Talk about a timely encounter!
It's incredible the changes that can be attained in a year's time. And sometimes those changes take place inside, where we can't see, which I imagine is what maintenance looks like. Even if your body is holding steady atm, I'm sure it's gloriously appreciating the healthy lifestyle. Yay you!
