Default Ideal Protein - Motivation Badly Needed!!

I started week 2 of Ideal Protein this past Thursday. In week one I lost 10 pounds. Honestly I think MOST of that was due to the decrease in soda intake. When I say I was ADDICTED to Dr. Pepper, it was a REAL addiction. I was having between 6 & 8 a day. My dietitian told me to switch to Diet Dr. Pepper & to have 1 with Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner but not to exceed 3 a day. (This is so that I get my caffeine intake & not suffer from headaches) So far, I'm doing GREAT on that. But since week 2 has started, (4 days ago) I have gotten nowhere. Seems I've gained a pound, but I've been following the protocol (aside from the unlimited lettuce part) Is there such thing as eating meals too close together?? How do I hold on to hope that I can do this?? There's so many times when I just want to give up, I feel like I was happier eating whatever I please 😞
