What are your favorite IP foods?
I'm only on my 5th day of IP, but so far I am really liking the food. Just curious what is everyone's favorite? And least favorite?
I'll go first:
Favorites so far:
Chocolate soy puffs (My absolute favorite!! Love these)
Orange drink
Pink Lemonade
Chocolate shake
Caramel nut bar
Least favorite so far:
cranberry bar (to tart for me)
Chocolate Peanut butter bar (to much protein/dry flavor)
Ready made chocolate pudding (yuck not chocolatey at all)

Oh great thread! I am apparently the only person who loves the wild berry yogurt drink lol. I add water, ice, cinnamon and some WF chocolate syrup on occasion and it is sooooo yummy.
I also love the pancakes. I never liked pancakes because they are too thick but these are thin and delicious!
I also like the fine herbs and cheese omelet and the broccoli cheddar soup with my own added broc.

I have the wildberry yogurt drink, but haven't tried it yet. I also have the omelet to try. I did try the broccoli soup it was meh, but I think doctored up and with added broccoli it would be good! I did just try the chicken ala king and it is very goo too! I'm so glad this is something I can stick to (for the first time ever)

STRAWBERRY WAFERS!!!! OMG, those things are so good!
I also like the chocolate and lemon soy puffs a lot.
I did NOT like the salt and vinegar pieces of cardboard they tried to pass off as "chips".
Pre-made chocolate pudding is vastly improved by a lot of stirring and a pump of Torani SF peppermint syrup.

I haven't been brave enough to try the ready made pudding cups again since the first time, but I have 5 left so I'm going to have the try again. I will try stirring and maybe adding walden farms chocolate or caramel syrup? I don't have the torani, but anything has got to be better than the plain pudding

Fitgurl, I think the addition of WF chocolate or caramel will definitely get you through those last 5 pudding cups. Not sure if they still do, but World Market had the Torani on sale 2 for $10, which is a good deal. I haven't tried the WF chocolate syrup or caramel, as the dressings kind of turned me off.
The IP stuff is too pricey to NOT eat, so find some way to get that pudding down.

The potato purée isn't great but I add green onions and cook it up like a potato pancake. Not too bad. I also mix a half pack in when I make my mashed cauliflower for flavour.

I love them too. I can only get a couple at a time because they are just tempting.

Put the pre made chocolate puddings in the fridge, or even better the freezer for 30mins and they are decent. Still not overly chocolatey but decent....adding the WF carmel sauce to it seems to improve it even more....might need to get the peppermint stuff as that sounds good....the WF peanut butter made it more whippy textured but did nothing for the flavor.
Favs:
i like the ridges both S&V and BBQ but im a real chip lover so anything chippy that's not soy based makes me happy.
the fruit drinks (haven't tried orange yet)...are all great...i add way more water and sometimes even mineral water to make even better and TONS OF ICE
the soups with my own veggies and spices are not bad either...
the make your own puddings but "Packet hacked" with zucchini into muffins
DISLIKES:
any of the strange textured bars (thats all of them)
the herb and whatever eggs...blah.
the chicken noodle soup (the plain chicken soup is fine, the noodle one leaves you with odd stringy noodle things that have a really odd outter space texture)

Ha! I might have to try it just for the outer space texture!
I love the broccoli/cheddar soup with added broccoli or asparagus. The orange wafers are pretty much TOO good. I also like the chocolate drink.
Some of the bars are just too gritty for me, but I do like the fluffy texture of the vanilla peanut bar. I OD'd on the cheese/herb omelets so I'm off those for awhile.
Ah,the finicky world of personal tastes.

I've always commented that one person's like is another person's dislike, which is why I refrain from calling items "disgusting"
I'm not a fan of the wild berry yogurt (unless I'm making berry muffins, since they discontinued blueberry pudding, which made the best muffins)
I like the herb & cheese omelet and I prefer it to the plain omelet, esp as a veggie omelet for lunch!
I'm not a big fan of sweet items, unless they are tempered & but with something to reduce the sweet. Never wanted to get overly hooked on sweets, since that isn't the way we'll be eating in maintenance (desserts will put the weight right back on).
