Default Gobble, gobble NOVEMBER EXERCISE CHALLENGE

Gobble, gobble, that's a turkey sound, not us while eating ourThanksgiving Dinner! Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and then there's Christmas/Hanukkah shortly after, following next is our New Year's party. One way to help eliminate the five-pound holiday gain (usually more in my case) is to exercise and that’s why we have this challenge. It’s always important to exercise but even more so when our lives are so hectic and fast paced. It sure helps with stress and just plain makes you feel great. So anyway, for those of you that are joining for the first time here’s what we do:

This is YOUR personal challenge, calculate the number of minutes that you will exercise for the entire month of November and post them here, each day that you exercise subtract that number of minutes and show the remaining balance.

Do not feel intimidated by the numbers that someone else has posted, everyone has to start somewhere and you will get stronger and feel better if you stay within a program that is right for you.

You do not have to wait until the beginning of the month to join, just jump in anytime, you just can’t drop out. Count the remaining days of the month and post the time that you are pledging, making a commitment to yourself.

Brother, I didn't give myself any leeway last time in case I couldn't get it done, so I am going to go with 1300 minutes this month!

I think I'll hop back on the wagon for the rest of this year. I'm going on a cruise in a couple of weeks and I plan on taking my exercise clothes but I really don't know how much I'll do. So I'll take the bare minimum this month, 850 minutes.

850 / 0 / 850 remaining.

The weather can go either way this time of year. I'm going to go with 1000 minutes, hoping I can get in my walks at home and keep my YMCA time to two days a week.

1000 minutes

as of 11/12 I've only exercised 280 minutes... I better get moving

New total: 820 minutes

Good morning,

It's been a beautiful couple of days in the area. It makes you want to get out and do something to get that body moving.

850 / 60 / 790 remaining.

Have a great day!

Good morning to all,

Well, the weather is changing, it's going to be a rainy day, 100% chance then the cold weather sneaks in.

Exercise was good, not long but I increased the intensity by 4 levels so I'm feeling it.

790 / 45 / 745

Have a great day!

Ladies, I am going to drop out this month. With Jack having had a heart attack on Sunday night, I just can't depend on getting regular exercise right now nor getting here to post. I will pick back up in December!
