Everyone is welcome - you don't need to have been a part of the previous challenge to participate.
Post your 2013 New Year's resolution. If you don't make resolutions and want to make a goal, that's fine too. It doesn't have to be a specific weight or a specific size but it does have to be SPECIFIC (i.e. Don't write "I want to be healthier." If you want to improve your health, how are you going to measure that? Do you want a specific blood pressure range? Do you want to be able to run a mile nonstop? etc).
Next you're going to write what you're going to do from Independence Day to Labor Day to make that happen! That's approximately 8.5 weeks. What will you do for the next 8.5 weeks of 2013? How will you make your resolution happen?

From Independence Day to Labor Day, my resolution is: to get to 235, strength train three times a week, and use the gym's track more often.
July 4th starting weight: 244 (scale was off 3 pounds, editing to reflect change)
Week one (ends July 11th): 242, weights x3, track used 2 out of 7 days.
Week two (ends July 18th): 239, weights x3, track used 3 out of 7 days.
Week three (ends July 25th): 241.8, weights x3, track used 4 out of 7 days.

April Fools' Day to Mother's Day Total: -8.4 lbs Mother's Day to Independence Day Total: -6.6 lbs

Week one (ends July 7): DNW - Vacation
Goal Weight: 197.2 lbs
Week two (ends July 14): 200.2 (+2, +2 Total) - Vacation gain - not too worried.

Week three (ends July 21): 196.4 lbs (-3.8, -1.8 Total)

2013 Resolution: Change my lifestyle and become a healthier person. Avoid and limit my consumption of processed foods and GMO's. I would love to get down below 200 by the end of this year..just want to get completely out of the 200's!

5) lower my cholesterol as of 2/8/13= 256 Total
6) tone my 'chicken wings' --exercising has been a challenge as I hate it!
From Independence Day to Labor Day:
1) eliminate chicken! Already eliminated beef and pork
2) do not add sugar to my tea! other than that, I have eliminated soda and any other added sugar
3) Done!
4) Down 7 pounds, need to loose another 20 by the end of the year, therefore, I want to loose 10 pounds in this time period.
5) will check by the end of the year so this exceeds this time frame
6) OH--I HATE EXERCISING! I just need to get started!
